Rhode Island Photograph Tour

Part 1

I’ve been traveling around Rhode Island both for art classes and personal enjoyment. Here’s some photographs I took:

We’ll start at my hometown of West Warwick. It’s the newest town in Rhode Island, turning a mere 100 years old last September. There was an outdoor dance, fireworks and a parade. The parade included Revolutionary-War era re-enactments (very popular here, obviously). What surprised me was the first version of the American flag was quite British looking:

Rural Rhode Island is ridiculously photogenic. Here’s the scenes behind a nearby dumpy apartment complex:
